A visit to the beach is a must when you come to Miami. It is a seaside city after all. Among all the beaches here, Miami Beach is one of the most spectacular. Don't be fooled by the name however. Miami Beach is not actually inside the city proper. The beach is situated on an island which is connected to the city by means of bridges. There is much to enjoy and see here. You can start at the beachfront which is littered with shops and restaurants selling all sorts of wares. At the beach, you can find many opportunities to lie down and take a sunbath. If you are planning to rent a car from touring around Miami and Key West, you need to know about the parking conditions. While the parking conditions in Miami are still bearable, it is rather difficult in Key West. There are very few free parking spots in Key West. Most of the free spaces are offered by the hotels. In the rest of the island city, you will have to pay for parking which can quickly become an exorbitant expense. As such, it is preferable if you don't rent a car to explore Key West.
